Kathryn A. Vorisek

Kathryn A. Vorisek is senior managing director, chief investment officer, and small cap team leader at Fiduciary Management Associates. As senior managing director, Ms. Vorisek manages the business and financial operations of the firm. Ms. Vorisek joined FMA in 1996 and was appointed FMA’s chief investment officer in 2000. In her role as CIO, Ms. Vorisek oversees all aspects of the investment process and manages the firm’s research efforts. Ms. Vorisek also serves as the small cap team leader, a role she has held since 1998. Ms. Vorisek has responsibility for the portfolio management of FMA’s small cap products as well as analytical responsibility for the consumer and energy sectors. Ms. Vorisek possesses 25 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to joining FMA, Ms. Vorisek worked as an equity and fixed income analyst for Duff & Phelps Investment Research in Chicago. She is a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of Chicago, the National Association of Securities Professionals and Women Investment Professionals. Ms. Vorisek holds a BS in finance from Marquette University and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University in finance and international business. Ms. Vorisek is majority equity holder of the firm.
Ophelia L. Barsketis

Ophelia L. Barsketis is team co-leader with Lloyd Spicer. She provides investment research coverage of the energy, consumer discretionary, consumer staples, and utilities sectors. Ms. Barsketis has 26 years of investment management experience as both a portfolio manager and research analyst at several investment management institutions. Prior to joining FMA in 2004, she was a senior vice president at Duff & Phelps Investment Management and a managing director at various subsidiaries of Liberty Financial as well as Stein, Roe & Farnham. She is a member of the CFA Society of Chicago, the CFA Institute and Women Investment Professionals. Ms. Barsketis earned a BA from the University of Chicago and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. Ms. Barsketis is an equity holder of the firm.
Lloyd J. Spicer, CFA

Lloyd J. Spicer serves as team co-leader with Ophelia Barsketis. Mr. Spicer provides investment research coverage of the financial services and industrials sectors as well as establishing the firm’s economic outlook and leading the development and implementation of the fixed income strategy. Mr. Spicer joined FMA in 1994 and has 27 years of investment experience. Prior to joining FMA, Mr. Spicer served as a portfolio manager and managed overall interest rate risk at LaSalle National Corporation. In addition, he served as senior vice president and director of various bank subsidiaries where he directed the design and implementation of investment policies. Mr. Spicer is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago and the CFA Institute. He holds a BS in economics from Indiana State University and an MBA in finance from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Mr. Spicer is an equity holder of the firm.
Leo Harmon, CFA

Leo Harmon serves as associate team leader and research analyst for FMA’s small cap strategies. Mr. Harmon has 16 years of industry experience as a portfolio manager and research analyst covering a variety of industries in both larger and smaller market capitalizations with expertise in financial services. Prior to joining FMA in 2003, Mr. Harmon was a sector portfolio manager at Allstate Insurance, Allstate Investments LLC. Mr. Harmon is a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute and the National Association of Securities Professionals. Mr. Harmon is also a member of the CFA Society of Chicago where he was appointed to the board of directors and also serves as the Vice Chairman for the Society. In addition, Mr. Harmon serves as chairman on the External Investment Committee for the Office of the Illinois State Treasurer. Mr. Harmon earned a BS from Bradley University and an MBA from Duke University. Mr. Harmon is an equity holder of the firm.

Daniel J. Dutile, CFA

Daniel J. Dutile is a small cap research analyst with expertise in the basic materials, capital goods, and transportation sectors. Prior to joining FMA in 2004, Mr. Dutile was a senior equity research analyst at Harris Trust and Savings Bank. He has 22 years of industry experience. Mr. Dutile is a CFA charterholder, as well as a member of the CFA Society of Chicago and the CFA Institute. Mr. Dutile holds a BBA from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Jason J. Hoyer serves as a research analyst, focusing on equity research coverage of the basic materials sector and corporate bonds. Prior to joining FMA in 2003, he was a financial analyst at CIGNA Healthcare, evaluating pricing strategies within multiple sectors and industries.
Mr. Hoyer holds a bachelors degree from the University of Michigan with a concentration in economics. Mr. Hoyer is a CFA charterholder and member of the CFA Society of Chicago and CFA Institute.
Noah Barrett

Previously, Mr. Barrett was with Morgan Stanley for four years in a research role performing fundamental credit analysis. Mr. Barrett holds a BA from Boston College and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He is a CFA Level 3 candidate.

Robert L. Hudon, Jr.

Robert L. Hudon, chief marketing officer, leads the institutional marketing, client service, and consultant relations efforts at the firm. Mr. Hudon has more than 25 years of experience in the investment management and consulting industries. Prior to joining FMA in 2008, he co-founded Patriot Management, a project management firm serving the institutional asset management and financial services industry. He has also held senior leadership positions at CRA RogersCasey, Putnam Investments, ABN AMRO/LaSalle National Bank, and served in a variety of senior sales management roles at SEI Corporation. Mr. Hudon holds a BA from Western Illinois University and is a retired Colonel in the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
Joseph T. Wright

Joseph T. Wright is the Senior Director of Client Service and Consultant Relations for Fiduciary Management Associates. Prior to joining the firm in May 2010, Mr. Wright was Managing Director and Director of Marketing and Client Service for Cimarron Asset Management, LLC from 2008 to 2010, and from 2003 until 2008 Mr. Wright was the Director of Consultant Relations for Calamos Advisors, LLC, focusing on institutional pension consultants. From 1998 through 2003, Mr. Wright was a Retirement Consultant for Fidelity Investments in Chicago. From 1996 to 1998 he was an Account Executive with Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. Mr. Wright received his B.S. from the United States Naval Academy in 1985. He received an MBA from the J.L. Kellogg School of Management (Northwestern University) in 2002.
John M. Odum

As part of the Client Service and Marketing Team, John Odum is responsible for providing client service to both clients and consultants and assisting with the firm's business development efforts. Prior to joining FMA in 2010, he was a client services associate at Man Investments Inc. He has also held positions at Arthur Andersen as both a senior auditor and marketing senior. He has more than five years of industry experience. Mr. Odum holds a BBA in Marketing from St. Joseph's College and a MS in Accountancy from DePaul University.

David J. Meyer

David J. Meyer is chief operating officer and department manager for trading, IT and operations. As the director of trading, he is actively involved in the implementation of FMA's investment strategy. His operational oversight includes portfolio accounting, performance measurement, fund operations/administration and technology. Prior to joining FMA in 1994, Mr. Meyer worked for The Northern Trust Company. He is past president of the Security Traders Association of Chicago and serves on the Institutional Committee of the National Security Traders Association and on the Advisory Board for Institutional Investor's Trader Forum. Mr. Meyer earned a BBA in finance and economics from Loyola University of Chicago. Mr. Meyer is an equity holder of FMA.
Candice L. Melcher, CPA

Candice L. Melcher, chief compliance officer, manages FMA's compliance programs. Prior to joining FMA in 2005, Ms. Melcher was an owner, chief compliance officer and chief operating officer at Stratford Advisory Group, a Chicago-based investment adviser. She has more than 25 years of management, compliance, and financial consulting experience with small businesses, including as a sole proprietor and a consultant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Ms. Melcher is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She earned a BS in accounting from the University of Illinois, a MS in Taxation from DePaul University, and completed the CFP Program at DePaul University and the CFP examination.
Nancy Fisher serves as a director in trading for FMA. As a senior trader, Ms. Fisher works closely with the managing director of trading and with the investment team to effect best execution for trades. Prior to joining FMA in 1999, Ms. Fisher worked for Security Management Co., Great Lakes Advisors, and Monetta Financial Services, Inc., where she spent seven years as a head trader. Ms. Fisher is a member of the Security Traders Association of Chicago.
Robert J. Oliver serves as operations manager, responsible for supervising the daily portfolio accounting and operations functions including performance measurement and reporting. Mr. Oliver joined FMA in 2008 and has more than 10 years of experience in the investment management industry. Prior to joining FMA, Mr. Oliver was account manager for UBS Global Asset Management. There he served as a member of the firm's client relationship management team in the Middle Markets Group. In addition, he serviced institutional client relationships and provided timely and easy access to UBS investment information along with high quality reporting tailored to the needs of the clients. Mr. Oliver holds a BS from Northern Illinois University and an MAFM (Master of Accounting and Financial Management) from Keller Graduate School of Management.
